Guindilla Amarilla
The Guindilla pepper originates from the Basque region of Spain. 'Guindilla' means 'chili' or 'hot pepper' in Spanish. They are also known as piparras when pickled. The plant has narrow, long greenish-yellow fruits that grow up to 4 to 10 centimeters and have a mild heat that most people can enjoy. That makes this pepper perfect for pickling, for instance in white wine vinegar, served as tapas or as a side dish with wine and cheese, also great with shoarma. Guindillas are among the most popular peppers in Spain.
