Description
The Sonora Anaheim pepper is a refined variety of the classic Anaheim chili, carefully selected for its milder flavour and consistent quality. It has a slightly sweet, fresh taste and a notably thick, fleshy wall.
What makes it unique compared to regular Anaheim peppers is its very low heat and uniform shape. While standard Anaheim peppers can vary in spiciness, the Sonora variety is known for its reliability and gentle character.
Its firm structure makes it perfect for chiles rellenos (see photo), as well as grilling, roasting, or stuffing. Full flavour, without too much heat.
