In 2007 a winner in the U.S.A. for its specific characteristics. The plant has resistance to two common viruses and produces good yields. It is the first hybrid Pasilla-type pepper. The pepper grows faster and has higher yields than open pollinated Pasilla peppers. With its unique nutty flavor and mild pungency, this pepper is frequently used in Mexican Mole sauces. The fruits can reach about 20 cm in length and about 2 to 3 cm in width. The plant will grow about 90 centimeters tall.
