Fish Pepper
A unique pepper. The leaves of the Fish Pepper are cream and green colored, making it an attractive ornamental plant. This old African-American species (heirloom), from before 1870, was used for seasoning fish and shellfish. The plant is about 60 cm high. The pods are multicolored. They color from light green with dark stripes to orange and finally to red.
