Demre
Demre peppers are sometimes called 'Turkish Hot' because they originate from Turkey and are still part of the local cuisine. The peppers mature from green to red in about 75 days and can grow up to 25 - 30 centimeters in length! They have a mild and fresh taste. Often pickled in the green stage, they are served with traditional kebab dishes. In the red stage they are often used for making chili powder. Expect an abundance harvest of this versatile and very long chillies.
