Description
Caloro looks like the Hot Banana. It is a vigorous, high yielding plant with continuous fruiting. The conical shaped pods are mildly hot and are about 10 cm by 5 cm. The pods have a thick fruit wall and ripen from green to yellow and finally red. After repotting it takes about 80 days to reach maturity. The plants are between 60 and 90 cm tall. Very good to be used fresh in salads and for pickling.
