Numex Bailey
Numex Bailey is a Pequin variant and is named after Mr. Bailey of the New Mexico State University. This cultivar is unique, because the fruit falls from the plant at maturity. This makes harvesting easier. The peppers are small, less than 2.5 cm long and 1.5 cm in diameter. This very hot chili pepper has a long growing season, around 120 days. So it’s important to start early in the year.
